Activities and Interests
Member of the project ‘Anthologie Écopoétique Située des Arts et des Littératures’, a collaborative venture based out of Sorbonne University Paris to document ecologically relevant art and literature from across the world. I serve as the India referent for this project, collecting and curating relevant material for the project’s database. https://ecopoetique.huma-num.fr/le-projet/
Write a newsletter, titled ‘Passages’, about the theory and practice of literary translation. It is an attempt to systematize my reflections on the subject, as well share them with a broader public. https://open.substack.com/pub/nachiketjoshi/p/passages1?=10z9f&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
Run an architecture and urbanism blog devoted to the Mumbai suburb of Chembur. I am engaged in documenting the "low-key cosmopolitanism” of its architectural styles which vary from Art Deco, Portuguese, and East Indian, to other more vernacular forms. The blog aims to create a public appreciation of architecture and built heritage outside the traditional precincts of South Bombay. https://www.instagram.com/housesofchembur/?hl=en
